About Me

Hello my name is Mikey. I have short brown hair which some stupid people call dirty blonde, and im a freshman at Lawrence University ... i uh...i really like SKA...A LOT. Heh....um...I play the guitar...and i like drums! I love playin in bands, but my favorite was my first ska band: Quazimodo and the Hunch, which i formed my sophomore year with my ALL TIME ..1 BEST FRIEND, Dave Zelonka (now held captive by York College, PA) That band and all of the people in it changed me. I love my friends...fuckin genuine, rad, hilarious people, some of which were also in the latter ska band, Thermador and the Professionals.I have a pool and... uh...my house is white...but on a more serious note, heres a few more important things about me:*I drive a pretty sweet green dodge minnie-van. i love my minnie van. however i do have one automobilic delema...it's not very original or distinguishable...everyone has one...this makes me slightly flustered. I blame EVERYONE but MYSELF for this dilema. So if i see you and your green minnie-van on the road...i will a) race you; b) destroy you; and c) cripple your pride for all eternity...because you will remember that my mass produced, forest colored hell on weels beat your minnie-van. SO DON'T BUY ONE! I CAN'T FIND MINE WHEN I LOOK IN THE PARKING LOT!*I strongly believe that peanut butter is good with just about anything.* I like act in plays because i am a theatre dork. This also means that i love to go streaking, make movies, and do scandalous things backstage.*I love Calvin and Hobbes!!!!* I love Ska and many genres of music and art. [don't you hate it when people say they like everything?, even if it's true? Well now I've just done it]I have a pool and... uh...my house is white...but on a more serious note, heres a few more important things about me:*I believe that everything happens for a reason, and that i don't have the right to judge anyone and that i do it anyway. *im pretty chill most of the time. Im a hopeless romantic sometimes and AM VERY OPTIMISTIC.I try not to hate anyone.Im kinda big on writing music... I've written about love for a long time, but recently words i sing have been about friendships, moving forward, and the little things...things that maybe even kept you down sometimesbut kept you goin... I have a great life. And i don't necessarily chose what to right, but i chose HOW to write it.Im just trying to become the best person i know how...
