About Me
“The longer I live, the more I realize the impact of attitude on life. Attitude, to me, is more important than facts. It is more important than the past, the education, the money, than circumstances, than failure, than successes, than what other people think or say or do. It is more important than appearance, giftedness or skill. It will make or break a company... a church... a home... A FRIENDSHIP. The remarkable thing is we have a choice everyday regarding the attitude we will embrace for that day. We cannot change our past... we cannot change the fact that people will act in a certain way. We cannot change the inevitable. The only thing we can do is play on the one string we have, and that is our attitude. I am convinced that life is 10% what happens to me and 90% of how I react to it; and so it is with you... we are in charge of our Attitudes.â€
"You know the great thing though? Is that change can be so constant that you don't even feel the difference until there is one. It can be so slow that you don't know your life is better, or worse, until it is. Or it can just blow you away, make you something different in an instant. It happened to me."
RIP Grandpa
It well may be, that we will never meet again in this lifetime. So let me say before we part, so much of me, is made of what I learned from you, you’ll be with me, like a handprint on my heart. Because I knew you, I have been changed for good.
"One of these days when my time has come
You can take me back to where I'm from
Put me on a westbound train
An' ship me off in the pourin' rain
Don't cry for me when I'm gone
Just put a quarter in the jukebox an' sing me back home"
