For over 30 years, NESF, a not-for-profit organization, has been serving the Greater Essex County community. NESF is committed to providing quality services to those individuals and families who need assistance with emergency food, clothing, shelter, utilities, rent, and other basic necessities during times of crisis. The homeless, the working poor, seniors, individuals with HIV/AIDS, those affected by fire, eviction, or domestic violence remain our primary focus. When there is no where else to turn individuals come to NESF. We are a safety net to the community providing service with compassion, dignity and respect.She also does charity work for the Art Miles Murals project founded by Joanne and Fouad Tawfilis which is a passionate and colorful ten-year movement combining the efforts of children and adults worldwide to promote global peace and harmony through mural art.Each hand and every mural aims to create and express a global voice to develop and advocate art rather than violence, cooperation instead of war and the continuation of life rather than death. Mile by mile across countries, borders and oceans, the Art Mile Mural Project has become the resonating Artistic symbol for peace. In addition to her media relations and publicity expertise, she is an actress, has studied music and played the flute since the age of 12 with classical and jazz training.
