PHOENIX (PROUD MUM)

Fashion has always played a large role in my life.From the time my step mom taught me to sew and crouches when I was 10 to my fashion shows today. As I was growing up in a small town north of LA I always stood out, with my outrages outfits and ever changing hair. In high school I quickly caught the attention of the drama director, who asked me to help out with costume design. I went on to make several costumes for productions there. At that time the swinging style of the 30s and 40s caught my eyes I could not resist the flashy fringe and short bobs. My skirts got shorter and I put on my jive shoes. This was the inspiration for Phoenix for some time. Creating everything from beautiful formals to trashy lingerie. After high school I continued with my dreams and attended FIDM. There I found a new inspiration. This time darker and sexier. This Gothic style consumed me with black lace and stripes. Tim Burton rained king in my new reality. While in school I started "MARINA LOUISE DESIGNS", A place for my 30s Gothic style to be displayed. Since then I have dived head first into my newly created world full of Fashionista Warfare, Fashion Shows and Modeling, As well as production.
