I've been a professional drummer and percussionist in the Seattle area for almost 40 years. I've played with a long list of Northwest legends as well as national artists such as Laura Love, Randy Bachman, Chuck Berry, and Bill Frisell. I'm well known for my unusual approach to percussion (incorporating a steel drum, clothes dryer, and 20-gallon barrel into my drum kit) and my ever-present groove. They don't call me "The Dealer" for nothing because I shuffle for a living! I have received the Washington Blues Society's "Best Drummer" Award in 1991, 1998, 1999, 2000, 2002, 2003, 2004, and 2006.
