Music:
I like all kinds of music... I like everything from Donna Summer to Korn. I absolutely ADORE Fiona Apple, Michael Jackson (his older music, anyway) Pearl Jam and Audioslave. I do NOT like Hinder, ghetto music or whiny man crap like The Frey.
Movies:
Funny ones that don't go to that stupid extreme...Chick flicks, suspense movies that make me think, The Wizard of Oz, any Disney movie, any Stephen King adaptation, even though they always seem to disappoint me.
Television:
Anything on TV is ok with me. Especially if it's Lost, or on Discovery Health, the first 2 Law and Orders, House, old Friends reruns, Snapped, Cold case Files, COPS or any other true crime type of show. I especially like great commercials...for instance... IDK, my BFF JILL??? or Kellogg's commercials with the Raisin Bran Crunch. Yup. i like dumb commercials.
Books:
I love all reads. books, mags, brochures, pictorials, anything I learn something from. I love Stephen King. Mostly his older stuff, but some new is ok too. I used to have a great collection, but that got lost in one of my many moves as a nomad. Now I think I only have about 4 of his novels. :( I like the Dr Oz and Dr Roizen series. I love any and all crime novels, fact or fiction. I like autobiographies, doesn't matter who it is, I'll read it and become totally interested in that person. I really like reading IMs and e-mails too. I do not, however enjoy a text message.
Heroes:
I wish I had someone profound in my life that I could really kind of look up to and idolize, but I just don't. I try to find things in people to emulate. everyone I love has a quality about them I love and wish I could be more like. I wish I could be as nurturing as my mom or as neat and kind as April or as good with money as Randy or as funny as Debbie or as good of a mother as Sarah.The only reason i even strive for perfection are my beautiful girlies. I feel so bad they got stuck with me, so I really try to make it as cool for them as possible, Because it's not gonna be a pretty ride in the long run...
