Coming from a long and competitive history in the Colorado music scene, the founders of Unified Front Productions are out for one goal, the unification of the Colorado scene. For too long, bands with good talent, energy and heart have been mislead and misrepresented into frustration at the hands of a money hungry industry. Our goal is to take the greed out of it, we work on a completely straight forward basis with everyone we talk to. Furthermore we expect nothing less of the people we work with and work for. The time and the place is now, Denver and surrounding area are in dire need of a group of talented bands with the same goal and the same heart behind it all. When a smaller group of people gather with a purpose, the powers that be always end up paying attention. We are counting on it.
We currently hold the rights for booking three nights a month at the Dark Horse Saloon in Boulder, falling on Saturday nights. Currently the line up will consist of two bands, an opener and a headliner. Headlining bands will be paid %10 of the cash bar facing the band, and both bands will receive a %50 discount on all food and drink. What this means is that everybody gets something out of this arrangement. Headlining bands will be play an hour set, openers will play what they can. ( If you have an hour great, if not let us know and this is fine.) We are here to help, that is the main goal, all styles and types of talent are welcomed and appreciated. We hope that by making our standards well known right off the bat, we can provide better promotions coverage for Colorado.
We are also looking to gather a following of dedicated, well entertained fans. We believe that the way to do this is by doing things that bands do all the time, just a lot more if it. We have a street team consisting of six members whose responsibilities range from fliering, to contacting student organizations, and most importantly, spreading the music around. These people will be your support system in gaining fans in the Boulder area. Once again, if you are from here, or not, we want to be able to pack the house for your show, and we will do what we can to make it happen. When you work with us, we take this personally, and that means we will do everything necessary to get your and our name out there. Most importantly, it's about bringing fans and bands together in an environment that everybody gets something out of.
