Influences: Jany Schella is a well established swedish multi platinum recordproducer, artist, composer & songwriter.He was born and raised in Stockholm, Sweden.He grew up in a musical family.He started to sing and play the piano when he was 5 years old. He's a great keyboardist and a pristine singer and pryor to his career as as a producer he was an artist. In 1995 he got a record deal as an artist and started working on his solo album but that album never came out so instead he turned his focus to penning songs and producing material for other artists.He got his first break as a writer-producer in 1996 scoring major cuts in Scandinavia, Europe, Japan and the U.S. In 2001 Jany had his ”big break” when he wrote and produced ”Trackin” Billy Crawford, an artist signed to V2 Records.It became an instant European hit selling up to 1000.000 singles in Europe.One thing led to another and in 2002 Jany ended up working with Destiny..s Child member Kelly Rowland.The result became the song ”Haven’t told you” for Kelly Rowland’s debutalbum which ended up selling 2.5 million albums worldwide.He was the first songwriter from Sweden to ever get a song cut by a major artist on the urban scene.His writing and production skills became high in demand but after experiencing a personal tragedy in May 2004 when his kid brother was killed in a devastating car accident, he took a break from the music business.In 2006 he stopped mourning his brother Robert ”Babac” Schella and decided to continue on doing what he does best, and that is to write and produce great music for the future.
