imikimi - Customize Your WorldBorn with the sounds of music, Maxi Millian at the tender age of 9 was inspired by musical sensational artists like Phillip Fraser who was the first to take him to King Tubbys Studio. Maxi Millian also grows up with Dennis Brown, Tinga Stewart, Michael Prophet, Prince Alla, Johnny Osbourne, Delroy Wilson, Sammy Dread, Peter Ranking, Junior Ranking and many more ........ They all use to hang out at channel one studio in Maxfield Ave where they chant on the mike singing and making music and dub plate specials for sound system like Black Scorpio, Gemini and others. Opportunity allow Maxi Millian to leave Jamaica and went to Europe where he perform opening acts for Gregory Issac, Aswald and others, he also perform in many different venues in Europe to broaden his musical career, he travel to other countries like Austraila, Japan and Singapore.
Maxi Millian is a familiar name in the musical industry, he decided to enhanced his musical career by residing in Canada still making his voice be known to the Canadian people, He resently performed with The Mighty Diamond, Glen Washington, Sugar Minott, Ken Boothe ........ Some of his songs included "Music Is Life" from one of he debut album which is also the name of the album, "Loving Jah", "Foolish Pride", "Surrender Your Love", "Come On and Rock Me", and so many more to his collection. His cd can be found in stores. He's presently working on a new album which will be on the MORESESS label produced by Judy British.
Maxi Millian is also a director and an actor in the film industry. He directed movies like "Specter", which he played the leading role. He resently co-directed a Jamaican Movie called Jacket and Tie which was filmed and produced in Canada starring Judy British leading actress and Balvin Banton. Maxi and Judy British is presently working on a movie script. For Maxi Millian music is life inspired through the creator Jah love is for all.
