I am a recently divorced gal, extremely proud of my Native American heritage. I am trying my best to make lemonade out of lemons, like living alone for the first time in my entire life, I am so excited to do that. My house is up for sale and I am looking for a cute condo.
I have 2 awesome kids,(Calvin (age 37)married to Amanda, Amy Beth (age 28) married to Jeremy. Calvin graduated from OSU with a business and marketing degree and has his own business in Stillwater. Amy Beth graduated from Life Pacific University in California and has her degree in theology and counseling, she is a pastors wife, her husband Jeremy is the director of music at a pretty big church in Kansas.
I have 5 incredibly precious, not to mention beautiful grandchildren, 4 from Calvin: Lillie Grace(age8) Emma Kate(age6) Wyatt Sarkahche(age 4)he is named after my Daddy, and Wilkerson(that is Amanda's maiden name) we call him Will(age2). Amy Beth and Jeremy have a little girl, London Faye (Faye after my mom), they plan on having another one in the near future. My grandchildren are the lights of my life. They call me Nonna. My favorite things other than my kids, grandkids and little pekepoo Lola Bella, are my pj's, thus the name, "Pajama Nonna". I am extremely close to my friends and family and are blessed that most of them live here in TTown.
My neice Audrey is great volleyball player and is turning 16 in March. We are grateful to God for bringing my nephew Andrew thru an awful life threatening fire that occurred Jan. 1st 2007. He was in hospital for several months and He continues the struggle to recover from the injuries he sustained. We are so grateful he is here with us, as they did not give us much hope for 3 months.
I haven't said that much about myself because the last 4 years have been sort of a medical fog. I have had 5 major surgeries in the past 4 years and a diagnosis of Lupus, arthritis, diabetes and fibromyalgia. I have been unable to work due to my health, but that's OK, I never was the career type gal. I was born to be a mother and it is my greatest accomplishment and joy. I still love life and find pleasure in the little things, like breathing and walking ;-) It's great to be alive! Peace and Love!
