Erica Popino has been a paranormal enthusiast all her life. She started
exploring and photographing cemeteries over 25 years ago. Erica showed a great
interest in spirit photography while in high school and photographed her very
first paranormal image at the age of 16. Now at the age of 43, Erica has gained
an even greater knowledge by studying and investigating the paranormal.
Erica has attended many weekend paranormal conferences and lectures regarding
ghost hunting and is a 2008 graduate of Dale Carnegie. She, along with Mike
Taylor of Island Ghost Investigations www.islandghost.com, have recently done ghost
lectures and presentations at Suffolk Community College.
Erica participated in a weekend ghost investigation
at the Houghton Mansion in Massachusetts; Fort Mifflin, Philadelphia; and the
Mount Washington Hotel in New Hampshire with Jason Hawes, Grant Wilson, and
Steve Gonsalves from the hit Sci-Fi series Ghost Hunters.
Erica was
actively involved with the Ghost Hunters of Long Island from 2003 through 2004.
In 2005 she formed Long Islands P.A.S.T. (Paranormal Activity Study Team).
P.A.S.T. is a public group of ghost enthusiasts with over 150 members across
Long Island who meet monthly for public ghost hunts, and to network and discuss

anomalies, and unexplained voices and other paranormal phenomena. She is mainly
involved in spirit photography but also uses other methods to discern possible
hauntings. Her personal ghost hunting tools consist of a 9.1 digital camera
