Growing closer & closer to Jesus Christ, reading His word, fellowshipping with His people and making Him known. We both love to travel and read, and are always up to try something new. Fai also likes paintballing, backpacking, hiking and camping... and sometimes he manages to get Monica to join him. Monica enjoys writing, and singing and cooking and a whole slew of things she just can't seem to remember in "interest" sections. We both enjoy spending time with our adorable son... badminton (seriously! It's so fun!) and all manner of board games-- we're pretty competitive "couples" Cranium players and recently have been enjoying the heck out of Yahtzee.
The list of fictional characters that would fill this section for both us of would reveal with all too much clarity just how very nerdy we are; so we'll spare you the gory details.
We have pretty diverse taste and there's not enough space here to name all of our favorites...
The Princess Bride, The Three Amigos, Joe vs. The Volcano and The Gods Must Be Crazy (for nostalgic reasons), Singin' In The Rain, Big Fish, Finding Neverland, The Thin Red Line, Pride & Prejudice (both versions), Sliding Doors, So I Married An Axe Murderer, The Notebook, Equilbrium... what else, what else? Ummm of course the Lord Of The Rings films (though the books were far and away better), and the same can be said of the Harry Potter Movies... and we both like Star Wars, though Fai also insists that those books are better than the movies (Monica hasn't been QUITE geeky enough to read them).
This is list is so much longer than it used to be but here goes: LOST, WOF (Wheel Of Fortune- har har), Gilmore Girls (Monica misses it terribly!), Scrubs, The SimpsonsWhen it comes to reality tv, we like SuperNanny, The Biggest Loser, American Gladiators and The Amazing Race, though in general we'd like to be against reality tv on principal... we're just not.
The Bible, Pretty much anything by C.S. Lewis and J.R.R. Tolkien, Francine Rivers' The Mark Of The Lion Series, HARRY. POTTER, Monica loves L.M. Montgomery and Lousia May Alcott and her very favorite book as a little girl is a book by Penelope Farmer called 'Charlotte Sometimes'.
