What’s good, my name is J Snap, a.k.a Shawn J from around the way. I’ve been doing the rap game (including writing and spittin’) on and off for the past 11 years. Recently I’ve started recording mixed tapes. All of Tucpac’s works, Notorious BIG, Eazy-e, Big Daddy Kane, and Eminem have influenced me. Their different styles, freestyling, battling, beats, and messages all pulled me into the game at an early age. Tucpac’s free and hard spirit inspired me the most to do what I do. I’m just trying to get my mixtape out to show cats that it ain’t where you’re from it’s where you’re going. I’m just trying to bring the life of the streets through in my music; hoping that every listener will feel my experiences growing up on the streets. Now I’m involved with managing groups, getting my group together in the studio, and getting myself known as well. Soon I will be making beats and producing groups.
