AMPLIFIRE

About Me

The idea of AMPLIFIRE came up in the summer of 2002 as a side project for Armando's band and main project and focus at that time called The Name. After hooking up with bass player Tinuzzzz they have kept this project alive on and off going through an endeless revolving door of members until the perfect line up was shaped up as we all know it today.Blues influenced guitarist Elijah joined the fold in 2003 and has remained in every line up ever since sharing the six string duties during all this time with other, now gone, guitarists as well as only axeman for some periods of time when a suitable replacement for those departed couldn't be found.Singer Mauri Oliver auditioned in early 2006 and got the gig right on the spot due to his incredible vocal abilities, professional attitude and stage experince. The last member to join also in 2006 was Guus. He was the perfect guy for the job due to his technical abilities and rude sound that is also the perfect complement to Elija's creating an incredible twin guitar team as the rest of the band unanimely agreed after his first audition.AMPLIFIRE is a tribute to the greats of a style and an era. With an extensive set list of all time Hard Rock favorites from the masters of the genre like AC/DC, UFO, Judas Priest, The Cult, Rainbow, Thin Lizzy, KISS, W.A.S.P., Y&T, Motorhead, Gary Moore and many more... ************************************************************ ****Unfortunately because of personall matters the band fell apart after the demo was finished last September, but you can still listen to the sound they put together on their first and last demo!******************************************************* ********* Enjoy the music and don't forget to come back to let us know if you like it or not....Until then, drinks are on you!
