About Me

I want to help change the way our culture hears its music. Everything you hear on the radio these days is all 3 chord songs, and it's boring, and talentless. Just like most of the musicians on myspace, they ask for your attention, but why listen when it sounds like everything else? There is no time taken to write really good stuff anymore. No stories are told, no emotions are moved, and you already know what the next song is going to sound like before you even push play.
And so, we grow up listening to this, and all the while our musical talents are getting dumbed down, so that we will never hum, or whistle, or sing in anything but those stupid 3 chords. This must not happen. Where are the John Lennons, the Brian Wilsons, the Bob Dylans of our generation? They are independent musicians who are poor, and can't get a break in the music scene because our culture finds their music too complex to give it time. YOU can change this.
Here is what my music is about. It's about telling stories. . .listen to the WHOLE song. You'll never know the end if you don't finish the story. It's about good chords and musical theory, not produced vocal tracks and stupid beats. And it's about talent greater than what a year on an instrument can give you. Give my music a chance. And yes, its about the music. Its not about becoming famous, its not about making money. Its about changing our minds and our emotions, our hopes and our dreams, and giving the world something to think about.
Please help me and tell your friends. There is a realization coming, and we real musicians need all the help we can get. I challenge you, dont just become a one-time listener. . .become a fan.

Sounds Like: The wind through leaves at dusk, the ramblings of a train as it passes, the jingling of keys as they walk in the door. Squeaking shoes after the rain, cracking ice in a glass, the sound a record player makes as the needle hits the plastic. Small pleasures that most never notice. My music is about sound, and life. They are the same.
