Regeneration opened this June as a reaction to the growing concern about our environment. Global warming is becoming a reality and many Americans are finally starting to care. I decided to open a store carrying various green products, hoping to make a fun yet guilt-free place to shop. We carry a mix of gifts, clothing, housewares, books, furniture and accoutrements - items that fit the bill of recycled or organic or sustainable or fair-trade/ sweatshop-free. Things that are derived or inspired by nature; friendly to the earth and the people on it.
Many items in the store are hand made by artisans or by small companies, others are from larger companies with environmentally responsible practices. Regeneration is a member of One Percent for the Planet, and donates to environmental organizations.
There are also many rehabilitated or altered vintage pieces - from clothing to furniture.
In the works is a room full of various green building and home design products.Please keep coming back as Regeneration grows and evolves!
