Phantohms

About Me

In the spring of 2006 the phantohm project was conceived. From their secluded underground studios the phantohms began experimenting with cryptic sonic waveforms. By manipulating these waveforms the Phantohms were able to create their own unique style of deep dubwise riddims layered with apocalyptic melodic overtones.
The Phantohm project has been developed entirely over the internet by file swapping.
Deepsix and Coda are seperated by a distance of almost 900 miles. From his studio in Winnipeg, Coda has employed the lyrical wisdom of Tai Pu a.k.a. Pucona on a number of tracks including the Phantohm, Dagger and Document riddims.
From nearly the geographical centre of the North American continent, the sounds of the phantohms are transmitted all over the globe.
Back 2003 Coda remixed an Afterbeat track called 'People Get Up'. The 'As One version' and was released for their 'Balls Out' EP. This version can also be heard on

Two other verisons were cut but never saw the light of day. One version is being refixed with a phantohm twist.
