Grew up playing classical, jazz, etc... Attended school in VA Beach for jazz piano after high school; toured with the US Army Band; played piano for President Clinton in 2000 and 2001; Al Gore in Washington D.C. in 2001; Performed with Alexander O'Neal in 2001 in Miami on the Tom Joyner Morning Show; also in Philadelphia, opening for Morris Day and the Time; Studied Jazz Piano Performance at UWS, 2002-2004; Performed with Crazy Betty; Performed with Kip Blackshire, including recording at Paisley Park and opened for Prince during Musicology Tour for PP after-party; Started The New Congress in 2005; Since conception, received two MN Music Awards for R&B Artist of the Year and R&B Album, 2006; Two Los Angeles Music Awards for R&B Single, and Independent Neo-Soul Artist of the Year, 2006; Nominated for Best Piano Player, MMA's 2006; Opened for Mint Condition in Minneapolis and Long Beach, CA; Recorded with Morris Hayes (Keyboardist w/Prince); Performed with Jon B.; Won the UW-Eau Claire Jazz Festival with trio in 2003 and 2004; Recorded at the Hit Factory, Miami, with Paul Fakhourie; Recorded with KIRV in Burbank, CA; Co-Produced "The Source" remix with Sly & Robbie on Desdamona's "The Source" album. That's about it... Still pursuing a successful career with my favorite group ever, The New Congress. New album, "Anguish Love & Romance" will be released in October, nationwide!
