I began playing the piano at age 4, and I've never stopped. At age 16 I joined the Young Americans singing group, and did some touring, but alas I couldn't dance, so I opted for baseball. Through the years I've played with some great bands. Papa Clutch and the Shifters, The Swing Shift Big Band, Steve Ono and Eddie Gordon to name a few. Most recently I've had my own bands, which include my rock band ,' The Rock Mechanix', and my jazz band' Deep C'. My main focus these days is my jazz band. Rock was fun , but between the volume and the shakin' I'm afraid something might fall off!
I began writing music about 15 years ago , and currently have completed four cd's, 'Brazilian Skye', 'Blues of a Different Color', 'Here's to Love', and 'Deep C'.
I've been teaching classical and improvisational jazz for 15 years in the Clovis and Fresno area along with playing great venues all over the west.
