ABOUT THE BAND
TVXQ (Tong Vfang Xien Qi) is a vocal/dance/a cappella group consisting of five members. In Korea, they are also known as DBSK or DBSG (Dong Bang Sin Ki/Gi) and in Japan, THSK (Tohoshinki), although TVXQ is their international name. The name translates into "The gods will rise from the east", a powerful image which the group live up to due to their solid team spirit.

TVXQ's sound is a mixture of pop, R'n B and dance, characterised by each member's signature vocal style. Oh, and they can really move, too. Check out U-know ;) (who was absent from the above performance due to injury)

In 2004, TVXQ collaborated with Korean rock group The TRAX and pop/R'n B singer BoA to create the song Tri-Angle (The TRAX later also collaborated on Free Your Mind, featured on TVXQ's second Korean album Rising Sun).

VACATION
In addition to dancing and singing, the TVXQ boys are also pretty good at acting. Vacation is a theatrical drama consisting of four episodes and a special: Cassiopeia (U-Know), Beautiful Life (Xiah and Max), The Way U Are (Hero) and Eternal (Micky). It was first shown at Yonsei University on July 7 in 2006, (running until 8th of August) and was later released on the C-version of their third album "O"-?.?.?. as a separate DVD. The band also recorded two tracks for this drama.
