Born to Carlos and Shirdee Lawrence, Justyn has always loved music. With instuments all around the he and his brother Jeremiah (Fluffy) started to play music his brother playing the organ and him playing drums. With his dad being a bass player he was always around the different styles of music while playin in playing in church but it wasnt until he was about 7 years old when he first heard the drummer that would change his whole out look, his whole aspect of drums, Rex Hardy jr.. The first time he heard him instantly he wanted to take his playing to another level, studying, learning and mastering his craft to the point of really wanting to play for a living. During his quest to become a professional musician, he was allowed to participate in the Sam Ash city wide drum off (Where ironically Rex was one of the Judges) and won first place giving him the chance to play with his lifetime biggest influence in drums witch was like a dream come true. He has been blessed to have the opportunity to play all over the country. He has also been blessed to have the opportunity to play behind such Jazz musicians, Ramsey Lewis, Willy Pickens, The Ravinia Jazz All Stars, such gospel artist as, Kirk Franklin, Albatina Walker, The Caravans, Fred Dubose, Pastor Chris Harris,such R&B artist as, Mario, O, Jamel Lewis, The Rock Band, Odium Nation, Funk Band Bob Murphy and The Quick Decision Band, and many more. His biggest dream is to play and tour the world spreading his gift to all just like the greats before him.
