Los Angeleez, I'm yours

About Me

shamelessness + spontaneity = me. I just finished 4 months of environmental conservation in Australia and 4 months of bush pilot dispatch in Alaska. Back living in Los Angeles with my boyfriend Lawrence (Little Tokyo area) and working at 3 Square Cafe + Bakery.

My Interests

art history, museums, film, fashion, the environment, gay rights, public art, sleeping under the stars, road trips, LA culture (yes, it does have one, it's just made of plastic), the california landscape... www.hrc.org

Music:

blues, folk, hip hop, jazz, electronica (lovage, ladytron, stars, lo-fi sugar, fiery furnaces, peaches, fourtet, postal service, portishead, dj shadow, the gotan project, bjork, tosca, the blonde redheads, hint). Another recent fetish has been... (gasp! dare i even say it without sounding like a complete idiot...) indie rock. Most of all, I wish that I could take Paul Simon home as a pet. He'd be my adorable little old man who serenades me. I would delight in his crooning while patting him on the head with gratitude. And I would ask Peaches to give me head. I bet she gives INCREDIBLE head. "squeeze ya tease ya please ya then thelma-and-louise ya" Oh, and Fiona Apple is a genius. Can never get enough of Van Morrison either.

Movies:

a history of violence, kill bill vol. 1 and vol. 2, brick, boogie nights, 21 grams, Donnie Darko, Wet Hot American Summer, Requiem for a Dream, Pulp Fiction, Reservoir Dogs, Fight Club, 25th Hour, American History X, Harold and Maude, Best in Show, Edward Scissorhands, The Princess Bride, Willow, the Exorcist, Sex and Lucia (foreign sex is just so much hotter), the Big Lebowski, O Brother Where Art Thou, The Royal Tenenbaums, Igby Goes Down, Saved, Amelie, the Baz Luhrmann Red Curtain Trilogy, Godfather 1 & 2, (Leon) the Professional, the birds, brokeback mountain, Lost in translation, V for Vendetta, Marie Antoinette, The Machinist
