Front man S. Robert Morley - best known for his aggressive, yet melodic vocal style - cut his teeth in musical theater before embracing his true passion of rock and roll. His theatrical background helps this "tall, menacing mutha" to command packed houses with natural charisma and ease. Lead guitarist Evan "EvRock" Brau was the vocalist and lead guitarist for the wildly popular indie band Munkafust for over ten years. His songs have also been featured on numerous network prime-time programs, as well as original programs on Sci-Fi Channel, ESPN and MTV. Rhythm guitarist Baron Silverton picked up a Stratocaster at the age of twelve and never looked back. Affectionately referred to as the "rock star" of the band, the raw passion he displays on stage electrifies audiences. Bassist Al Lay, dubbed "Ice Man" for his precision playing and unflappable stage presence, has performed as a session bassist for many signed artists, including Ozzy and Black Sabbath. He can also be heard playing with his old band, Sonny Bones, on the song "Greatness" in the film "Step Into Liquid". Drummer Derek Syverud's infectious enthusiasm is the beating heart of Manic Automatic. He can currently be heard playing on Guitar Hero 3 as the drummer for Slash and Tom Morello. The force of these talented musicians results in a live show that explodes with energy. From the opening four-count to the fade of the final chord, they consistently impress audiences with their intensity and commitment. They have recently begun playing to packed clubs in Los Angeles and are in the process of booking shows around Orange County.
