It's not really 1984, it's just an 80's cover band!

About Me

In a world of disorder and disaster and fraud, sometimes only beauty can be trusted. Only artistic excellence is incorruptible. Pleasure cannot be bargained down. And sometimes the meal is the only currency that is real.

Books:

It should be mandatory for everyone on this planet to read Food Revolution, by John Robbins. By far the most brilliant, informative, yet beautifully written book I have ever read. READ IT AND WEEP, literally. Or anything by Alice Walker (my favorite is The Temple Of My Familiar, all woman should read this book) Augusten Bouroughs, David Sedaris (comedic genius') And last but not least Mr.Bahgavan Das, a true spiritual Guru.

Heroes:

♥ Houston, for his careless veiw on the "oh-so-petty-bullshit" us normal people fret and stress over, where he simply smiles and moves on. He is my lover, best friend, and my rock....he is 100% pure Smothermon, and I love every ounce. He makes a scary, crazed world look sublime. ♥ My Mom, for giving me the most freedom a girl could ask for, letting me run a muck and learn for myself how the world really is....because truly, that is the only way you will learn. Her spirit and charisma out shines everyone, and I love her for that.
