The Signature Sounds Recording Studio has relocated to a spacious old barn in Pomfret Center, Connecticut. We are a little over an hour from Boston and just three and a half from New York City. Go to the new Gallery Page to see pictures of projects at the new studio.
Chief engineer Mark Thayer has been capturing tuneful moments in a broad variety of musical styles for 23 years. From Louise Taylor, to Billy Taylor, to James Taylor, Mark has worked with many notable artists. Combine this experience with 24 tracks of clean digital, a warm sounding Audio Arts Weatstone 32-channel console, tube Mic preamps, EQ's, & compressors, Neumann microphones, a Yamaha C-3 grand piano, and you have the ingredients for a great sound.
We have an impressive stable of musical personnel, including some of New England's finest studio musicians, writers, arrangers and producers. At Signature Sounds Recording Studio, we have all the tools and toys, but we still use our acoustic ears.
