About Me

DAY OF SILENCE, April 16, 2010 - Welcome to the official Day of Silence MySpace page. The Day of Silence, a project of the Gay, Lesbian and Straight Education Network <(GLSEN) , is a student-led day of action. Concerned students, from middle school to college, take some form of a vow of silence to bring attention to the name-calling, bullying and harassment -- in effect, the silencing -- experienced by LGBT (lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender) students and their allies.

My Interests

I'd like to meet:

Middle school, high school, and college students who want to organize a Day of Silence event in the their school. Just sign-up at www.dayofsilence.org

.. When you sign-up at the Day of Silence you can be counted among the hundreds of thousands of students who are taking a stand against anti-LGBT bullying, harassment and name-calling in K-12 schools. Not to mention, you can get cool products like posters, postcards, speaking cards and stickers.
