In 1992 during a dark cold winter night I had my first contact with Breakbeats watching the 'Everybody in the place' video from Prodigy on TV. It was acompletely new style for my ears and brain and caused a revolution for my taste in music. After listening to the whole Experience-LP and discoveringother acts I reached the point of no return :)
During this time period I was getting deeper in how to get all this Hex-programming managed when I tried to use Tracker-Software. After getting someknowledge the first tracks followed. My influences came from labels like XL-Recordings, Knite Force and Suburban Base.
So I was a happy Breakbeat-addicted guy and music and parties where KILLA in these days. When Jungle and Drum n Bass appeared I was fascinated because ofthe evolution in music-style. We were traveling through Germany to visit the most awesome parties and raves I..ve ever been on. For everybody who missedthese days it..s very hard to describe what an amount of energy was in music and on parties. Today, this energy is lost (my two cents).
With the upcoming Jungle and Drum n Bass-styles music was getting more and more dark. There were some MASSIVE tunes which rocked nearly every dancefloorbut the main output was getting more and more boring and uninspired. In 1995-1996 I stopped listening to DnB coz evolution stopped. The artists competedfor creating the biggest and uggliest basslines and the beats were sampled soooo many times so I was fed up with searching the few artists and DJs Ilike.
In 2001, I focused my production on other electronic styles but besides I made a few Breakbeat tracks, too. Because of the success of my other musicthere was a production gap for nearly 4 years. Together with DJ IGUANA I started the Psy-Trance act NAKED TOURIST with over 30 releases so far. Weplayed on parties and festivals all over the world. Back in 2006 I started again with NuSkoolBreaks, Psy-Breaks and Drum n Bass and released some of mytracks on the german label 'RISK-INDUST'. I also made a NuSkool-Remix for Germany..s Hardcore-Band No.1 LIMBOGOTT which was released in spring 2006. Atthe moment I..m working on a Psy-Breaks album for Parvati-Records which is going to be released between 2007 and 2008. With my other project ZONEOTURA I..mcreating Trip-Hop / Dub / Lounge in a twisted way to explore new frontiers in electronic music.....
