Versus Five arose from an idea shared by a group of young musicians from Valencia (Spain): to create a project open to any kind of music – a project where they could let their musical talents and influences flow without stylistic borders.
Leaving behind any creative compositional prejudices, their different musical backgrounds have combined to create something altogether unique. Versus Five develops a fine weave of progressive-rock, jazz, latin, electronic music, and flamenco. Underpinned with solid song structures Versus Five strike a balance between thoughtful compositions and the spontaneity of improvisation.
