Band Members: Currently I play with the Voice of the Wood Cello Quartet. We have traveled to various parts of the world bringing music of 'living' composers to areas around the world that might not otherwise hear of them._________________________I also play by myself when Stephen tours as soloist. It's a little lonely, but he sure makes me tired after a while. Then it really doesn't matter, I'm too tired to worry about company._________________________Then there is the String trio I play with occasionally. They don’t have a name, but we do weddings and parties as well as hold recitals 3 times a year._________________________Speaking of recitals, Stephen and I perform 2 recitals a year at University. We also participate in the ECO In-Home Recital Series 4 times a year._________________________Which brings me to the largest group I play with. Currently I am proud to be one of the cellos in the Evergreen Chamber Orchestra in which I have had the pleasure of participating in for 12 years now. I also participate in a group called Musica Sacre._________________________Then there is the Symphony Orchestra at the school where Stephen teaches. He is the current professor and director of the string department. I play in that occasionally. I also play with the school string quartet. We are currently working on Schubert’s Death and the Maiden, and Dvorak’s American._________________________Then there are the private students. They are so willing and practice so hard. I am so lucky to see their smiling faces and hear their not so pleasant sour notes. They will, however, make fine cellists. It’s nice to see the spirit live within them.
