After spending an intimate summer together, two adolescent boys, DANNY TOPS ( JB GHUMAN, JR. ), a high school jock, and SANDY BOTTOMS ( TIM WOLLASTON ), a more effeminate high school cheerleader, part ways expecting to never see each other again. When fate steps in and Sandy transfers to Danny's high school, he soon discovers that his summer fling has no intentions of ever coming out of the closet to his fellow football "Cocks," or even to himself, anytime in the near future. Further complicating matters is HEATHER MACALAID ( AMANDA BYNES ), the Rizzo-esque leader of the "Pink Pussies" cheer squad, who sets her sights on Danny to help her win the coveted Carnival Queen crown or else face being disowned by her overbearing and wretched Mommy Dearest ( JENNIFER COOLIDGE ).:
With many of the same set pieces, including a school dance-off, a drive-in breakup, a very unusual drag race and a romp through a carnival fun house, not to mention cameos written in the hopes of attracting such gay-friendly celebrities as PEREZ HILTON , LEA DeLARIA , NICK LACHEY , JANE LYNCH , MELISSA RIVERS and RYAN SEACREST to sign-on, the end result is an over-the-top spoof of raunchy teen comedies, coming out stories and of course the much beloved JOHN TRAVOLTA and OLIVIA NEWTON-JOHN mega-hit. Backed with over ten new songs composed with sound-a-like melodies to avoid copyright infringement, you can undoubtedly expect the same high energy excitement of its predecessor and the potential for an equally profitable lesbian-themed sequel right around the corner!
