Odeon Records is a Canadian based company whose focus is to produce, promote, sell and license music worldwide. Our catalogue consists of New Age, Easy Listening, Classical, Jazz, Flamenco, World Music, Dance/Euro/Pop/Freestyle, Top 40, Rock, Children’s music, Ambient, Relax and Sleep albums, Aromatherapy, as well a wide range of Wellness music.Our present catalogue consists of over 2,500 songs by over 50 artists in almost all genres of music. Our experienced A/R ensures that all of our music production and artists are of the highest quality. Odeon Records and its producers have received 5 Gold and Platinum records to date and have also licensed many songs to compilations that have achieved Gold and Platinum status as well.
Odeon Records began in 1993 with founders Chris Phillips, and Gus Filippeos. Odeon Records got their break in the early 90's producing for some of the biggest names in Dance music including...Platinum selling artist Stevie B, Lil' Suzy, Collage, Tito Puente Jr., Alexia Phillips, Joee, Kathy Phillips, Rockell, Solina, M2P, Kim Esty etc...
Today, our clients include many major and independent labels including Somerset Entertainment, Fisher Price, Universal Music, Robbins Entertainment, SPG Music, ZYX Music, Distel Media, Top 2 Music, Solitudes, Avalon, Toshiba/EMI, Power Music, Popular Music, I Dream Music, Viper Music, Time/Life, Next Plateau Entertainment and many more. Our music has helped to sell millions of CD's worldwide. In 2006 Odeon Records recorded 6 albums for one of the biggest fitness gurus and one of the most popular celebrities of all time.... Richard Simmons.
The Odeon Recording Studios are state of the art facilities. Each of our studios are fully equipped with Pro Tools, Logic Studio, Cubase VST, 24 BIT audio recording, along with high end mixers, microphones and outboard gear.
In 2008 Odeon Records founder Chris Phillips recorded an album with one of our most popular artists...Kathy Phillips, along with two-time Oscar winner Al Kasha. This collaboration has produced one of our most promising projects to date.
2009 Has been a busy Year. Odeon Records and Chris Phillips produced Richard Simmons latest DVD's "Sweatin' To The Odies Vol. 5", as well as several cd's for Somerset Entertainment including "North Pole Lounge", "Sleep Stars", "Celtic Dreams" and "Christmas Serenity". Chris Phillips also produced 2 Albums with Dr. Lee Bartel titled "Relax Naturally" and "Anxiety".
Currently in production is "Dance Baby Dance 2", which is the second installment of the hugely successful (over 500,000 sales *certified Gold) album for Fisher Price. Also in production is the newest single for Kathy Phillips to be released with Next Plateau Entertainment in early 2010...
