Isaiah 61:1-31 The Spirit of the Lord GOD is upon me; because the LORD hath anointed me to preach good tidings unto the meek; he hath sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to them that are bound;2 To proclaim the acceptable year of the LORD, and the day of vengeance of our God; to comfort all that mourn;3 To appoint unto them that mourn in Zion, to give unto them beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness; that they might be called trees of righteousness, the planting of the LORD, that he might be glorified.
I am a woman on a mission.... I'm here despite all of the obstacles put in my way.... I have laid down all of my old burdens and realized that it's time to fulfill my destiny.... The passage of scripture above is one of the many purposes I'm destined to fulfill.... I'm here to bind up the brokenhearted because I've been there several times and have came out of it.... To proclaim liberty to the captives-- there was once a time when I was bound.... To comfort those who mourn, BELIEVE ME--I've been there. Name it, and I've probably been through it.... But the best part of it all is that I made it through by the Grace and Mercy of my Lord and Savior.... And I'm here to speak an encouraging word into YOUR life!!
