Ice Music Group was founded in 1999 a record label dedicated to the broad based promotion of gospel performers, artist, and musicians. Since that time Ice Music Group, Inc. has extended its scope to include hit theatrical productions, comedians/comedy shows and has excelled with a vast mixture of musical artists and groups. The most recent addition to the ICE family under the direction of Minister Will Smith is the ..The Maryland Children..s Choir... The choir consists of over 80 extraordinarily talented and gifted youth throughout the Baltimore metropolitan area. The participants of this choir went through a rigorous eight-week training program that resulted in a Live Recording session on July 15, 2006 in Baltimore, Maryland. These children know how to praise and worship God! The mission of The Maryland Children..s Choir Foundation through The Maryland Children..s Choir is to provide positive youth development through spiritual empowerment, and an arts based education for Maryland youth ages 5-15. We aim to educate, mentor and train youth in musical skills that will expand their career opportunity and enrich our community. The Maryland Children..s Choir addresses the need for community involvement, social, and musical development for area youth. We will promote innovative and creative platforms in a variety of musical disciplines including, performing, technical, and visual arts, and through partnership and sponsorship of one of the industries most renowned entertainment academy..s, John Robert Powers of Maryland we are accomplishing many of our goals. Our children were featured at the historical Hippodrome Theatre on November 19, 2006 in Baltimore, Maryland. We seek out every opportunity to expose our children to the best experiences. And we are passionate about our mission. Remember, it does take a village!
