I am here for Friends

About Me

The name's Stu. I've done 23 laps around the sun, and growing up, I was a military kid. I've lived in Illinois, North Dakota, California, Maryland, and Nebraska. Back when I lived in Omaha, I worked at Gamers corporate headquarters, and essentially learned how to run a video game business in all the essential details. I'm preparing to employ this knowledge as I reopen my own video game business, Last Level Gaming. It's been one of my dreams to do that. In case that fails, I'm grabbing a history degree here at Chadron State College to keep my potential future career afloat. I also have a veritable library in my apartment, no car, and there's a 99% chance that I can kick your ass in chess. (The children of the state of California doubted this back in 1996, so I had to lay down the law. Bitches.)
What else... I'm an Orthodox Christian -for those who don't know, we're basically the church that the Catholics split off from a thousand years ago. Our turn-ons include icons, sweet beards, Jesus bling and alcohol and our turn-offs include proselytizing, Pope hats, churches mucking about in politics, and the doctrine of eternal suffering in Hell.
Politically, I'm a member of the Libertarian Party and I run my own political blog, Last Free Voice . I like philosophy, theology, politics, archaeology, and I administrate a message board, the Fora Augusta.

My Interests

Web design, writing, philosophy, theology, archaeology, politics, drawing, graphic design, video games, computer games, history, chess, road trips, and chainmail.

That was pretty lol (moar dickishness ahead).

I think my give-a-damn’s gone out the window.  Apparently one of my friends, Amy, who shall remain nameless, got really huffy when I posted my last blog entry.  I knew her back in Mary...

Awesome-coated awesome with awesome filling

I am sitting forward and there is a cat sleeping on my back.

'S'truth. What's proper etiquette in this situation?  Do you tell the cat to shoo so you don't have to sit forward (which wasn't uncomfortable until the option to sit back was taken away from you)...

ENM’s making me do this... :p

Once you've been 'tagged', you have to write a blog of 10 weird/random facts/habits/goals about yourself.  At the end choose 10 people to be tagged, listing their names and WHY you chose them. Do...
