Tainted One
Tainted One’s lyrics hit right between the eyes. His voice send a rumbling impact into one’s whole body. It’s where enlightenment and club-banging music converge. Intelligent and intense, fresh and original, Tainted One’s hypnotic hip-hop hammers its message home with strength and sincerity and the hooks to end all hooks. Rap is his natural habitat and Tainted One is at the top of his musical food chain.
The Only Universal Language
Why does Tainted One do music? Why does he rap? Why does he practice hip-hop? Because he wants to be heard – he wants his words spread far and wide. He wants his emotional power to resonate across distances. And since he believes that music is “the only universal language,†and since that is his number one natural talent – he strives for domination and success in the hip-hop scene.
Purpose
But on a more personal note, Tainted One finds the paramount motivation for his hip-hop in a single word: purpose. “Music gives me a sense of purpose,†he explains. “AS far back as I can remember, I have been writing stories, poetry, songs, etc. Music brings me into a realization of me as a person.†Music is Tainted One’s introduction to the world and its chance to get to know him through the meaning of his words and the spirit behind his music.
The Artist at Work
Tainted One describes himself as “a poet and lover of literature.†In addition to his work as a rapper, he has written a number of children’s books – demonstrating his versatility and creativity. “I need for the world to know that I really have something to say and if they just listen they can learn!†Tainted One has come a long way from his younger days of guns and fists. “My music is all I have! Even when I had to learn how to talk again, I still had music!†Tainted One is at work on a new CD. He is currently teamed up with A&R Select, the world’s leading independent artist development firm, based out of Los Angeles, CA.
