Suspect loves playing music! Post graduation from Wheaton College in Massachusetts, best friends Tristan Andrews, Josh Shriber and Frank Ciccone decided that rockin' late nights and road trips beat the typical nine to five work schedule. They united their love of reggae, rock, funk and blues to form Suspect. After several years of touring, the band thought that Frank may actually look better in a suit and tie. Both parties gracefully agreed and Suspect was quickly reformed with seasoned drummer, Billy Prendergast. Positive energy, strong vocals and harmonies and catchy songs in combination with an unbeatable live show have transformed Suspect from an unknown frat-rock band to an increasingly popular name in the underground world of music. In fact, their fan base at many clubs, boarding schools and colleges is among the largest on the East Coast touring circuit.Suspect has successfully played over 200 live shows at boarding schools, colleges, frat houses and clubs in New England and along the East Coast. They have sold out The Elbow Room in New York City, Higher Ground in Winooski, VT and regularly pack Harpers Ferry and Bills Bar in their hometown of Boston, MA. Over 60 boarding schools, from Episcopal in Virginia to Choate in Connecticut, are persistently booking Suspect per request of their students. Their high school and college fan base is so dedicated that they have been known to travel over 250 miles to see a Suspect show! This is a generation that has been influenced by Suspect's positive vibe and will, literally, continue to grow and support the band for many years to come.Suspect spent the summer of 2003 in the studio with Jack Gauthier, producer of Dispatch, Sugar Ray and John Hammond, recording their debut album, The Color of We. It contains 14 original tunes that sing about life, love and the never ending pursuit of finding a good tour van on eBay. In early April of 2005, Suspect added James Bustamante as their new drummer. The new energy he brings to the stage is not to be missed.After all is said and sung, Suspect is a live band whose chemistry is unique and simply bona fide.
