Tier 1

The “under-the-radar” hiphop city of Toronto is not well known for producing artists but producers are beginning to make their mark in the industry. Brampton’s (just west of Toronto) own Tier 1 is no exception. Brian “All-Waze” McIntosh and Daman “Nature Boy” Dhaliwal are determined to be the forefront of the northern movement. Having known one another since the seventh grade, it seemed very unlikely that the two would find a common interest in production four years down the road. What began as solo endeavors soon changed. The two would always critique each others’ beats and would even try to improve upon it but adding what they thought the beat was missing. Each time they helped one another, they learned something new. It was now proven that All-Waze and Nature Boy were the right compliment for each other and decided to form what is now known as Tier 1.The production duo trademark their production style with thumping drums covered with electrifying synthesizers or blended samples. They pride themselves in being able to cover all types of hiphop beats from the west coast vibe, to the southern bangers right to the east coast grime. Having already created themselves a buzz by participating in various beat battles in Canada and the U.S., the two knew that this passion could very likely manifest into their lifetime careers.
