Jake Goodfleisch

Hi folks,I've been writing music over 16 years. I know it's cliche to hear musicians talk about how music has seen them through tough times, but that is truly the case for me. There have been times when I've had absolutely nothing but music. Music has served me well as a form of meditation and prayer, and I try to remember to give thanks for it on a daily basis. Today I am blessed with the understanding that every day is a gift and this moment, right now, is the best moment of my life.I've mostly played in Columbus, OH but have been forunate to have some opportunities to travel and play in other parts of the country. I haven't pursued any live performances yet during 2007, but have been very active writing and recording. I'm hoping to start playing a little in the Southwest this year as well as at home in the Midwest. We'll see. All good things in all good time.I don't have a set band at this time. Most of my performances are solo acoustic. I do like to work with others though. I like to play other peoples music. I don't need to be in control. I'm always open to new ideas and experiences.I've been adding a lot of people on here. I encourage communication and would like know everybody...because you are all like snowflakes..hehe. Seriously though, I try to respond to all messages and if time allows, I try to contribute on a personal level.have the best day of your life, ~Jake
