Studmuffin Geezer

About Me

Formed in 2005 when Kim Dumford asked Brent Duncan to come out to Grandma's Farm. That night, they played with a variety of local talent, music ranging from awesome to absurd. After the tone-battle, Kim asked Brent for contact information. Soon, they were jamming along together on a weekly basis with the talented bass-player Jon Bryan.
In 2007, Kim asked the superstar Tommy Crab to join our shaky little group on drums. Thus began a new musitudial era.
Late summer 2007, after quarreling for weeks, and during a show with the amazing Calamity Cubes at the birthing grounds of Studmuffin Geezer, Mr. Bryan left the group, and went on to join the fabulous Toltecs.
From there, the trio went on to develop a combined poor taste in behavior and music.
After shaking around for a year, and playing some very unsatisfying shows, Studmuffin Geezer appeared to be on it's last leg. Then, we all opened up... new things started to happen... and we felt ready.
With two weeks before a show, Brent asked Kim if he would like to try out a bassist. Kim answered affirmative, so Tommy was asked. Tommy said sure. That night, Brody Wellman of Antibacterial Cereal and Tangle Bacon blessed the basement with his astute understanding of musicality, adding a much desired element to the lower end of the spectrum.
Now, we are ready. Join us at our live gigs. Help us pay for our record. And most of all, ENJOY.
I want to have your baby.
Peace,
Matt
