Keystone Kowboys

April of 2004, Barry asked his local idol Mike Hosty if he could open up for the Hosty Solo Act on his birthday a Sunday Evening @ the Deli. Barry was granted his wish, but he had to form a band to play his “music.” Barry asked his best buddies Cali and Holmo to start a band. Holmo recruited his brother Wes and Buddy Coolwhip to play one show for Barry’s birthday. We rehearsed night and night and night again, over at Barry’s shit shack of a house on symmes street in Norman. We wrote five songs for this show:1. Porno 2. Protein 3. Texas Sucks 4. The Shark 5. Butt Sex on SundayIt was assumed that the Keystone Kowboys would not last beyond this one gig, but God had different plans. The power of Barry’s lord and savior, a 30-Pack of Keystone Light, brought these young aspiring musicians tighter together. We wrote more songs like6. Sunshine Store 7. Big Red Cup 8. Piercings 9. Keystone Light 10. Gang Bang your mom 11 . Booty Booty and so on…….On Halloween of 2005, the Keystone Kowboys played their last show with the low end of theory cool whip. At this show, Holmo unfortunately drank a 30 pack of Keystone Light and had numerous shots of Crown. The Band ended on a drunken note. Holmo showed his scrotum to the crowd, and told them to suck his nuts. The crowd responded with boooos. Doug yelled at Holmo, and Holmo replied “Hey Dug, Hey Dug, you’re a big fat bitch, why don’t you cum and say that to my face” (extremely druken). Holmo beat Doug’s ass after that for getting mouthy.The next day we appointed young Wayne Lessley to be the new professor of low end theory. Wayne offered a new approach to the band, Singin on Key. We tour constantly between Central and Southern Norman, Oklahoma. We recorded our new DEBUT CD “BUTT SEX ON SUNDAY” in a record 13 months. We signed with Shitty Assholes Productions in November of 2006. Our next CD will include more songs like:1. DirtyBird 2. Soap on a Rope 3. OK 4. etc.WE ASPIRE TO PLAY ONLY OUR ORIGINAL MATERIAL.
