"Full Circle are set to take the European jazz scene by storm. Driving
angular grooves morph effortlessly into tender, delicate sonorities; always held by a strong sense of melody.
The connection between the 3, and their connection with audience
is striking. Beautifuly written compostitions, combined with heartfelt
playing, draw the listener subtley into their musical landscapes, in ways which are exctiting, transporting, entertaining and above all, highly musical.
These guys are a rare treat not to be missed! "
(Claire Martin, Radio 3's 'Jazz Line-Up)
"Excellent piano-led jazz from Loop dude Peach and pals. Expect hypnotic pieces with an in-built groove and look out for their spell binding version of Portishead's 'Sour Times' (TIME OUT, Critics Choice)
Joss Peach is an outstanding young pianist with great maturity of style and imagination. He has been building up a name in England after living in Southern Spain, where he was working with Celia Mur and Perico Sambeat among others, and where he won the coveted Secadero prize for Jazz Piano. Since his return he's played with musicians such as Pete Wareham, Seb Rochford, Spike Wells, Bobby Wellins, Andy Pernai and Dave Whitford. He has also established himself as a composer of film music.
This new trio marks Joss' coming of age as a bandleader and creative force on the uk jazz scene, as he teams up with two highly versatile and creative players. The product is Full Circle, a fresh and exciting piano-led trio which is no imitation and has a style all of its own.
