Mount Moriah International Church Of Pontiac Diligently Pursues The God-Given Mandate Of "Reclaiming The Church, The House OF Prayer." In Fact This Has Been The Coporate Focus At New Mount Moriah For The Past Seven Years. Through Annual 40 Day Vigils; Citywide Prayer Meetings; Weekly Intercessory Prayer Sessions; Local, Regional, and National Prayer Workshops and Conferences; He intensely Strives Toward The Mark Of This God-Given Assignment. The Magnitude Of This Call Is Evidenced By The Impression That Has Been Made On An Interacial, Multicultural, International Audience Of Many Who Have Never Met Him But Through The First Volume Of His Daily Bread Interactive Prayer CD, Which Has Been Purchased As Far Away As Japan, Germany, Africa, England, And The Bahamas. Many More Have Been Touched By His Most Recent Release "Could You Not Pray With Me One Hour?" And His Books "How To Flow In A Powerful Prayer Meeting,"And "Walking In a Victorious Prayer Life." He Serves As A Member Of The Excutive Council Of The Full Gospel Baptist Church Fellowship International Under The Auspices Of Bishop Paul S. Morton, Sr., As Well As The Bishop Of Prayer Which Has Led To His Travels Throughout The United States And Abroad To Develop And Train Copprate Prayer Teams. Bishop Murphy Became Pastor Of The New Mount Moriah International Church In 1990. At That Time The Church Was A Year Old With 60 Members. Today He Shepard's More That 1,200 Active Members In Three Locations In The Cities Of Pontiac, Detroit, And Macomb. In 1995 Bishop Murphy Was Named Overseer For The Full Gospel Baptist Church Fellowship International. In This Role He Had Oversight Of More Than 60 Churches Throughout The State Providing Guidence And Direction. In 2000, He Was Named Midwest Regional Bishop, With Oversight Of More Than 120 Churches In Five States Including Michigan, Indiana, Ohio, Wisconsin and Illinois. Bishop Murphy Has Been Married To His Lovely Wife, Lady Donna Murphy For 24 Years. They Have Five Children; Four Of Who Serve In Ministry With Them (DeJaughn, DeVaughn, Brittany, And Jasmine) And One That Serves In Atlanta, Elder William H.
