My Deepest ocean By Carrie lancon 4-02-07Lying here I see a vast ocean of stars above me.Watching them I feel some how connected to this world.I watch them wishing I could swim among them.To freely swim among them in that deep dark ocean and see the world from above is truly heartwrenching.Counting the stars would be like trying to count a drop of water in the sea or a grain of sand on the beach.Laying here wishing I was floating among the stars in the silence of space at one with the universe. Feeling and seeing how tiny and child like I truly am compared to the vastness of the sea of stars.Connected but seperate from everyone and everything.At one with the universe but alone.Quietly I set my soul free to swim among the stars heeding their call to my soul.What wonders await my minds eye: new worlds, new life forms,and new wonders to behold.Each star a tiny fish in the endless ocean of space calling for me to swim free among them.Oh how my heart fills with wonder at their sight waiting in anticipation for the wonders to be revealed to my hungry eyes.Letting myself be free from my earthly bonds I go where their call leads me.To absorb the wonders they reveal to my soul.Filling me with peace and joy helping me find my place in this world.Knowing that I will agian swim among the stars someday.My heart full of beauty and wonders to share with your soul.Knowing I have learned so much but still so little.I say goognight to my star companions and thank them for allowing me to swim freely among them in their ocean.Promising that I will agian someday return to swim with them;among them in their deep and endless ocean home.For now I am home agian and filled with knowledge that I gladly share with your heart.Of how we are simply tiny parts in God's grand design.So next time you lay under the ocean of stars set your soul free and come swim among them with me.You too will then behold the glories of the universe that they reveal to you and be at one with me.
