I am in love with life; I like to try at least one new thing a day. I learn every day over again that the keys to life [for me] are growth, balance and laughter. I have an amazing son, Landon Travis, who has the sweetest laugh and gives the best hugs. Derek, Landon and I recently moved to Australia in August to help people become and stay well with Chiropractic. Plus, we want to travel the East for a while. I desire to see the world from an educated perspective. I traveled a good deal when I was younger (and moved around more than others), however I don’t remember much, and at such a young age I could never have grasped the magnificence of the things, people or places I was seeing. I have felt for a long time that moving and traveling builds character, and so I believe it’s important for Landon to experience these things. There is much more to me, as many of my friends can tell you… but to sum me up, I appreciate the time I spend with the people I love, I love doing things that make me feel happy and alive, and I am grateful for every day I get to wake up (as rushed as they may be at times).
Here is a quote that I feel says a lot "about me":
"...So one plants his own garden and adorns his own soul, instead of waiting for someone to bring him flowers. And one learns that he really can endure, that he really is strong, that he really is worth something, and one learns and learns... and with every day one learns."
