The Paper Plane s'est formé en 2007 après la rencontre de Romain et Thibault. A l'origine d'influences très différentes mais partageant le goût des belles choses ils décident de mettre a profit leurs disparités dans leurs jeux et backgrounds pour se construire un style bien à eux pour lequel ils se retrouvent dans l'essentiel.
De nombreux morceaux voient alors le jour dont certains sont en libre écoute sur cette page. "If You Don't See Me" où comment dire qu'à l'heure du PapyBoom on est là aussi, "Hello Goodbye" chanson jouvence, "A Story" l'impression d'arriver après la bataille, "Monday (freedom is over)" nullement besoin d'expliquer ou encore "Later is Better" aude à la jeunesse flegmatique et pas pressée.
Les deux compères ont recruté pour les accompagner Vincent à la basse, nouvel arrivant en 2008 en remplacement du précédent bassiste. Quand à Pierre, il occupa le poste de frappeur de fûts jusqu'à ce triste printemps qui le vit s'envoler pour Norwich. Après de longues tribulations estivales, "L'avion de papier" trop longtemps cloué sur la terre ferme, a pu enfin recruter son nouveau batteur qui on l'espère est en passe de devenir passager au long court.

The band was formed in 2007 when Romain and Thibault ( pronounced Teebo ) met. Although they initialy were not into the same kind of music, they shared some common tastes and views. They eventualy came to start a band, for the pleasure of rehearsing and playing for people. Their different backgrounds and strong friendship made them to create pretty special pop rock songs with a very few means.
They wrote many songs and recorded some of them, as "If you don't see me" or how to say that as most of the population is getting old we are still here... "Hello Goodbye" the fountain of youth... "A Story" the feeling of arriving the day after the party... or "Later is Better" the aude to the phlegmatic and relaxed youth face to our planet wich turns too fast.
They hired for that Vince, a bass player who replaced the former one in the early 2008. Pierre was the drummer from the begining to this last spring when he left to Norwich. He has been replaced by Arno, new passenger of the paper plane.
