About Me

moved up to boston to start working after the years and years i have managed to avoid the real world in school... it's a little frightening to move across the country with only what will fit in my car...turns out all i really need are my dogs, my books and some clothes...i have to give a huge heartfelt thanks for all those who helped me to reach this exciting point in my life, i promise to try to keep in touch despite the long hours i will be slaving away this year...hard work this saving lives business :)

My Interests

running more than is actually healthy, any sort of playing outdoors, travel, skinny dipping at the beach, drunken snowboarding dodging twelve-year-olds in the terrain park, tasty wine, relaxing with friends, staying up all night talking, the occasional cow tipping

I'd like to meet:

a big cup of coffee

Music:

quite a variety, current faves are pixies, portishead, old 97s, death cab, lily allen, shins, wilco, spoon, modest mouse, arcade fire, white stripes, coldplay, any of my angry girl music (ani, pj, tori), willie nelson, old crow medicine show, and of course the booty music i shake my ass to while running or cutting up small animals

Movies:

the incomplete list-true romance, eternal sunshine, boondock saints, lock stock, the last unicorn, amelie, big fish, royal tenenbaums, little miss sunshine, moulin rouge, garden state, lion king, secretary, many independant films, girly movies and the miyazaki films

Television:

i subscribe to the mass hysteria that is grey's anatomy and only hope my own life can have so much "drama"

Books:

i was the little kid who would bury her nose in a book as she got off the school bus and get hopelessly lost in her neighborhood on a daily basis, wish i had more time to read currently, some faves: life of pi, blind assassin (most margaret atwood books), if on a winter's night a traveler, memoirs of a geisha, david sedaris' books, the outlander series, lots and lots more

Heroes:

anyone who has found true happiness
