About Me

I am a professional genealogist with over 20 years of experience (I started very young!) I work mainly in the southern Maryland area, but also have experience in my own states of origin - upstate (Albany-area) New York, Connecticut, and Virginia. I just moved my blog to Windows Live Spaces: Tricks of the Trees Visit my web site at http://www.haitfamilyresearch.com for more information. I am also the author of the Family History Research Toolkit , published by Genealogical Publishing Co. The December 2007 issue of Family Chronicle has my article, "Getting the Most from the 'Rest' of the U. S. Census." NEW: The May/June 2008 issue of Family Chronicle has my newest article, "Tracking a Household in the Pre-1850 U. S. Federal Census." Click below on the cover to order or subscribe! Photo Restoration ServicesI just wanted to post a note here about my photo restoration services. In addition to genealogy -- and perhaps because of it -- I have taken to digitally restoring old, aged and damaged, photographs. For more information, and to view samples, visit my website to learn more .Please feel free to query me if you are interested. We can work out all of the details before any decisions are made.
