Ara has been performing from a very young age, as a ballet dancer, belly dancer, artist and singer. She is from Chihuahua Mexico, and her parents are also in the performing arts. Her father Arturo is a well known keyboardist and composer in Chihuahua, recently asked by the government to compose a symphonic work involving the local indian tribes and there traditional music. Ara's mother ACIHUA was a famous singer throughout Mexico, performing on Television, radio and in numerous festivals around the country. ACIHUA was best known for her works singing in the Folkloric and traditional style.
Ara has an upcoming European release "Amor", see the title song on her music player. She wrote the lyrics for this song, and co wrote the music. She has recently relocated to the Las Vegas Nevada area, and is working on new material and perfromances.
Ara recently performed for Cirque Du Soleil, doing a middle eastern style dance for the Cirque Du Monde foundation at a benefit concert here in Las Vegas. She is currently working on new music, and will have a full length CD released soon. :)
