My hometown is on the Big Island of Hawaii. As you can see from my page, I miss the island, my family and friends. I regret that I took advantage of the fact I lived in "Paradise". Seems like you never know what you're missing til its actually gone. I look at pictures of the tropical island and be amazed all the time how the ocean seem to be more blue, the days seems brighter even on the most cloudy day, and how peaceful life seems to be even on a hectic day. I never imagined that I would be a resident of California, but here I am for almost 2 years,trying to make ends meet without the ocean, the "Aloha spirit" and most of all,without Kalaen. Don't ever take anything for granted,remember where you came from and most of all, you can take the girl away from the island,but you can never ever,ever,ever take the island away from the girl.
