I find something I like in most music - Rock: Beatles, Zep, Bjork, Radiohead, Amiee Mann, Wilco, Joni, Spoon, Steely Dan, Tom Waits, Pedro the Lion, Jimi Hendrix, Jackson 5, Nirvana, Staple Singers - Jazz: Miles to Chet to Mingus to Jaco to Chick to Herbie to Pat - Classical: Mozart to Debussy - Rap: Eminem to Dre to NWA ... and so on.
Indiana Jones, Memento, Raging Bull, LOTR, Godfather, Goodfellas, The Fugitive, Pulp Fiction, Kill Bill, Die Hard, The Matrix (just the first one), Network, Spinal Tap, Apocalypse Now, The Sure Thing, Star Wars, Me you and everyone we know, The Princess Bride, State and Main, True Romance, Hustle and Flow, The Untouchables, Rear Window, Old School, Lost in Translation, The Usual Suspects, The Horse Whisperer, Three days of the Condore, Ronin, Almost Famous, Jerry Mcguire, Sophie's Choice, Close Encounters, Good will Hunting, Taxi Driver, Some like it Hot, Casablanca, Citizen Kane, ... I own over a thousand DVD's - so it's hard to narrow it down - I like anything that is well shot - well acted - and well written.
Arrested Development =(, The Office (BBC), The West Wing (Seasons 1-4), The Sopranos, Lost, CSI, 24, Deadwood, The Daily Show, Curb your Enthusiasm, Six Feet Under, Real Time, Family Guy, The Simpsons, Meet the Press, most anything that is well written.
Too many to list ... lately I've been reading a lot of nonfiction.
Both my parents, lots of people named Jimmy, and anyone whose pursuing their dreams with a passion and/or/while helping others. Also a standing 'O' for the Police and Fire people ... and all those who work with sanitation or in the sewer system (that can't be fun). They should get everything for free (especially deodorant and scented candles).
